Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your registration for, and participation in, Run for Life 2026 ("the Event"), organised by Life Community ("Life Community", "we", "our", or "us"). By registering for the Event — whether as an Individual, Mentor-Mentee Pair, Parent-Child, Group, or Corporate Team participant ("Participant", "you") — you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Registration and Eligibility

All registration information submitted must be true, accurate, and complete. You are responsible for keeping your registration details up to date.

Registration is personal to the Participant named at the point of registration and is non-transferable to another individual.

Participants aged 18 and above may register on their own behalf. Participants under 18 require the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

For the Parent-Child category, there is no minimum age for the child, but the child must remain together with their registered parent or legal guardian throughout the Event.

3. Fees and Payment

Individual registration fees are $20 (early bird, until 31 August 2026) or $25 (standard, from 1 September 2026). Registration fees are waived for children of Life Community and for corporate runners.

Corporate Team registration is free of charge. Runner slots are allocated based on the company's pledged donation amount, at approximately one runner slot for every S$1,000 pledged.

Payment is made via PayNow to Life Community Ltd, UEN 202512271G, as instructed during registration.

4. Refunds, Transfers, and Changes

• Registration fees are non-refundable.
• Registrations are non-transferable to another person.
• T-shirt size may be changed on request before registration closes. Once registration has closed, t-shirt sizes can no longer be changed.

5. Event Changes, Postponement, and Cancellation

The Event is scheduled to take place on 21 November 2026 (Saturday), 7am to 11am, at Silver Garden, Gardens by the Bay.

The Event will generally proceed rain or shine, unless severe weather or other conditions pose a safety risk to Participants. If the Event is postponed or cancelled for safety reasons, registration fees remain non-refundable. Any updates will be communicated through the official website.

Life Community reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the Event's format, route, schedule, or venue where necessary.

6. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to follow the instructions of event officials, marshals, and volunteers at all times, including during race pack collection and on Event day.

Participants must behave in a manner that is safe and respectful towards other Participants, volunteers, staff, and members of the public.

Life Community reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the Event, any Participant whose conduct is considered unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.

7. Health, Fitness, and Assumption of Risk

By registering, Participants confirm that they are medically fit to take part in the Event and are not aware of any health condition that would make participation unsafe.

Participation in a running or walking event involves physical exertion and inherent risk. Participants take part at their own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Life Community, its officers, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and appointed officials shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from a Participant's participation in the Event, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Event officials may require a Participant to stop or withdraw from the Event where necessary for that Participant's safety or the safety of others.

8. Photography, Video, and Media

The Event may be photographed, recorded, or livestreamed. By participating, you acknowledge that photographs, audio, or video containing your image, likeness, or voice may be used by Life Community for reporting, promotional materials, and website and social media content, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Personal Data

Life Community collects, uses, and discloses personal data in connection with registration and participation in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Fundraising and Donations

Fundraising via each Participant's or team's Life Community fundraising campaign link remains open until 31 December 2026.

Donations are processed through Life Community's designated fundraising and payment platforms. Life Community is not responsible for any technical issues arising from third-party payment platforms.

11. Intellectual Property

The "Run for Life" name, logo, and related branding are the property of Life Community. They may not be used, reproduced, or adapted without prior written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Life Community shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from a Participant's registration for, or participation in, the Event.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

14. Changes to These Terms

Life Community reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time. Any updates will be published on our website and will take effect upon posting. Continued registration or participation in the Event constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
