Supporting a runner or team

Where do donations go?
Donations are completed through each runner/team’s verified Giving.sg fundraising link. This microsite helps supporters discover runner stories, but Giving.sg handles the secure donation checkout.
Why does the Donate button open Giving.sg?
Giving.sg is the official external donation flow. It keeps donation processing, donor records and receipts outside this microsite.
Can I support more than one runner?
Yes. You can browse the supporter directory and open any runner/team’s Giving.sg link to contribute.
Run / Walk participation

Recording activity

Is there an actual race day?
Yes. The actual race day is 21 November 2026 (Saturday), 7am to 11am, at West Lawn, Gardens By The Bay. Participants can also complete their own run/walk fundraising at their own goal and pace, with fundraising continuing until 30 November 2026.
Can I walk instead of run?
Yes. Run for Life 2026 is designed to be inclusive. Participants can start recording their own run/walk activities at their own pace after registering, then celebrate together on the actual race day.
How do runners record distance?
Runners log in to the Runner Dashboard and enter manual run/walk activity. Screenshot upload and fitness app integrations can be added later if needed.
Does activity need admin verification?
Runner-entered activity updates distance progress immediately as self-reported activity.
Runner accounts and activity logging

Dashboard and profiles

How does a runner create an account?
A runner can use the Runner Dashboard login/register flow to create an account, update their runner profile, set distance and fundraising goals, and record activity.
Will a new profile appear publicly immediately?
No. Runner-created profiles remain hidden until reviewed or published by the admin, so public pages stay clean and accurate.
Can a runner change their profile photo?
Yes. Runners can choose from selectable avatars and update their public profile details after login.
Privacy and safety

What is shown publicly?

Is exact route or health data shown publicly?
No. The portal stores only basic activity summaries such as date, activity type, distance, duration and activity name. It does not publicly show exact routes, start/end points, heart-rate or full health data.
Should runners upload route screenshots?
If screenshot proof is added later, runners should crop out home locations, maps, route start/end points, heart-rate and other private information.
Who benefits from the campaign?
The campaign supports Life Community’s work with children, youths and families from low-income and/or vulnerable backgrounds through care and mentoring.
