Volunteer roles

How volunteers may be deployed on event day

Based on event needs and availability, volunteers may be deployed to one of the following teams:

Run Marshals

Guide participants along the route, support road and crowd safety, and report issues to the Event Operations Team.

Service Crew

Support participant-facing areas, distribute items and help keep service points welcoming and organised.

Facilitators

Run booths and activities, explain instructions and encourage participants to take part.

Registration & Finishers Crew

Assist with check-in, goodie packs, participant enquiries and the presentation of finisher medals.

Logistics Crew

Help with event set-up, pack-up, equipment movement, supplies and replenishment.

Stage & Programme Crew

Support the programme schedule, stage movements, performers, speakers and audio-visual coordination.

By submitting this form, I confirm that:

  1. I consent to Life Community Ltd., the organiser of Run for Life, collecting and using my personal data for volunteer administration, communication, safety and event operations.
  2. I will keep confidential any private information I encounter through volunteering.
  3. I will not photograph or record children or vulnerable persons without organiser approval.
  4. I will not publish event photographs or videos where organiser approval is required.
  5. I understand volunteering involves ordinary event-day risks and I will follow all safety instructions.
